Poems by Max Ehrmann

To read Max Ehrmann's poem "Desiderata" written in 1927 is to know this gentle man who gave up a life as a lawyer to pursue poetry. Having published at least two volumes of poetry in the first decade of the 1900s - it was his master piece Desiderata published in 1927 for which he is best known.
